Here at The Black Barn sister farm of Alaska Farms & Co would love to thank you for looking to host your special event on our farm. We have been completely blessed to be able to call Orlando our home for our family and farm animals for the past 5 years in this community! The Black Barn is a modern style farm venue located in the heart of Orlando minutes away for popular highways such as 417 and 408. We are located on 5 acres of zoned agricultural working farm land and is also home to friendly farm animals and our locally grown farm market. The beautiful mix of foliage keeps the black barn tucked privately away from surrounding neighbors and you can enjoy the beautiful farmland and celebrate your special day right in the heart of Orlando.

The Black Barn offers a relaxed and warm environment for all types of events :weddings, receptions, rehearsal dinners, family parties, reunions, graduation parties, and other private events. From the open Chapel connecting to the cocktail hour hosted under the market lights, the Barn is the highlight of the of the farm with its minimalist modern
style. We take pride in all that we do as a family and wanted to create a farm venue that people can have a creative mind for their event, in doing so we kept our palates very
clean and minimalistic. We love the opportunity for the community to be able to see the many different activities that agritourism has to offer. We have poured our heart and soul to make every piece of our properties into something that future generations can truly enjoy.

We are very honored that you are considering our farm to host your event and we would love for you and your family to enjoy our farm as we have for these past years.

Story

With Love,

The Flores Family

we believe that everyone should have a perfect day to celebrate with the loved ones.

We are a family owned and operated local farm here in Central Florida. We started Alaska Farms as a way to bring together our family and friends, which also includes all of our animals. As a family owned business we care for our animals personally to ensure they are not only lovable, but kid friendly as well!

About Alaskafarms & Co

FAMILY OWNED BUSINESS

This new experience is provided here at Alaska Farms. The new innovative idea was started by The Fernandez sisters, whose goals are to transform stress into happiness with the baby goats, among other animals. Goat yoga allows you to harmonize with nature and creates a sense of peace and relaxation. Goats are curious and love interacting with people, they will hop onto you to make sure your experience is not one to forget.

MINI GOAT YOGA

This new experience coming this year will be able to host farm to table events to be able for children to learn how to grow fruits and vegetables and also have local schools have the oppurtunity to visit our farm and be able to see how food is grown and interact with animals in their natural enviroment.

WARNING

Under Florida law, an agritourism operator is not liable for injury or death of, or damage or loss to, a participant in an agritourism activity conducted at this agritourism location if such injury, death, damage, or loss results from the inherent risks of
the agritourism activity. Inherent risks of
agritourism activities include, among others, risks of injury inherent to land, equipment, and animals, as well as the potential for you to act in a negligent manner that may contribute to your injury, death, damage, or loss. You are assuming the risk of participating in this agritourism activity.
The law does not protect the operator in the case of gross negligence or malice but provides some assurance for those hesitant to embark upon an agritourism venture because of concerns about the liabilities associated with opening a farm to the public. The legal language used to craft this law was similar to that of other states, among them North Carolina, which passed similar liability protections for agritourism operations beginning in 2005 (North Carolina General Assembly, 2016). Note that the law is not a substitution for farm liability insurance and should not be construed to replace the protections that insurance may provide an agritourism operator.
